Clinical Research Nurse

About the role

Altasciences is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to ensure the safety, consent, and well‑being of participants in clinical trials. The role involves executing study procedures in compliance with protocol, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and inventory emergency crash carts, keeping records up‑to‑date.
• Protect the confidentiality of trial participants and sponsors.
• Conduct clinical trial activities such as continuous safety monitoring, safety assessments, investigational product administration, and catheter installation.
• Monitor, document, and follow up on adverse events.
• Support participant screening and consent processes as needed.
• Provide feedback on study progress and communicate issues or resolutions to supervisors.
• Train staff on trial‑related activities when required.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• DEC from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Permit from the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec (OIIQ).
• Fluent communication in both French and English.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and discretion with confidential information.
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
• Relevant industry experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
