Cleaning Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead and coordinate cleaning staff in a commercial facility such as an office building, shopping centre or mall in Vancouver. The role involves ensuring high standards of safety and cleanliness while managing budgets and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, train and supervise a team of 3‑4 cleaning workers.
• Inspect sites to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Prepare budgets, cost estimates and recommend additional services such as painting or repairs.
• Coordinate work activities with other departments and establish work schedules.
• Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience supervising cleaning staff.
• Physically demanding work with tight deadlines; must wear steel‑toed safety boots.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
