About the role
We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead and coordinate cleaning staff in a commercial facility such as an office building, shopping centre or mall in Vancouver. The role involves ensuring high standards of safety and cleanliness while managing budgets and schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Hire, train and supervise a team of 3‑4 cleaning workers.
- Inspect sites to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Prepare budgets, cost estimates and recommend additional services such as painting or repairs.
- Coordinate work activities with other departments and establish work schedules.
- Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience supervising cleaning staff.
- Physically demanding work with tight deadlines; must wear steel‑toed safety boots.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
