About the role

We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead revenue growth within a fast‑moving 3PL environment. You will blend sales, customer service, and operational execution to ensure freight moves smoothly, profitably, and on time while building strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and expand the customer base to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain high‑touch relationships with customers and carriers.
  • Negotiate carrier contracts, ensure compliance, and maximize margins.
  • Oversee the full freight lifecycle—from booking and tracking to resolving delivery issues.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on forecasting, planning, and business strategy.
  • Mentor brokers and sales staff, fostering a results‑driven team culture.

Required profile

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics sales, business development, or account management with an existing book of business.
  • Strong knowledge of 3PL operations, including refrigerated and dry freight.
  • Proven ability to manage customer and carrier relationships professionally.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations; a car allowance is provided.
