Supply Packaging Planner

About the role

AlumierMD is seeking a skilled Supply Packaging Planner to develop replenishment plans that ensure production orders are met on time while maintaining optimal inventory levels. You will work closely with the Finished Goods Planner and cross‑functional teams to drive packaging innovation and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain a rolling 12‑month Packaging Master Production Schedule using Gains, Dynamics GP, and SalesPad.
• Analyze supplier risks, build contingency plans, and manage RFQs, purchase orders, price tracking, and MOQ negotiations.
• Lead root‑cause investigations on packaging defects and coordinate corrective actions with QA and CMOs.
• Distribute weekly production status reports to Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, and NPD teams.
• Support new product development initiatives by ensuring supply chain readiness and identifying potential risks.
• Develop Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for packaging materials and issue purchase orders to approved suppliers.
• Manage global ancillary and promotional material supply for marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Residency in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
• Experience in packaging supply planning or related supply chain functions.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
