About the role
The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor will lead the operational logistics of our North York facility, ensuring efficient flow of goods and smooth equipment operation. This full‑time position supports both day‑to‑day activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and plan the organization’s operational logistics.
- Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
- Arrange maintenance and repair work for equipment.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend productivity improvements.
- Conduct performance reviews for the logistics team.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics or shipping/receiving.
- Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Successful criminal record check.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Personal qualities: client focus, flexibility, initiative, good judgement, and organization.
