About the role
The Beverage Service Manager will oversee all beverage operations for a busy restaurant in Toronto. You will be responsible for maintaining profitability, ensuring compliance with liquor regulations, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze budgets, develop cost structures for food, alcohol, and supplies, and monitor daily financial performance.
- Plan, organize, and evaluate daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff while enforcing health, safety, and provincial liquor legislation.
- Maintain inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and handle cash balancing and reporting.
- Address customer complaints, manage events, and negotiate catering arrangements.
Required profile
- Dependable and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
