Apprentice Technician – Service Department

About the role

The Apprentice Technician will perform vehicle repair and maintenance work under the guidance of an experienced technician, following dealer and factory standards. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience with a wide range of OEM brands in a supportive, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and perform work efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts and tag warranty items.
• Examine vehicles for additional safety or service work and advise the Service Advisor.
• Road‑test vehicles to quality‑check work and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop environment and comply with waste‑disposal regulations.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of automotive equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly self‑motivated, organized and able to work under guidance.
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Availability to work shift Saturdays.

Required skills
