Analyst, Portfolio Operations

About the role

The Analyst, Portfolio Operations will join BCI’s Infrastructure & Renewable Resources (I&RR) department in Victoria, supporting one of the world’s largest institutional infrastructure portfolios. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Portfolio Operations, you will become a subject‑matter expert in infrastructure portfolio operations, working across the full investment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the I&RR team with transaction processing, portfolio monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with Investment Operations, Finance (Investment Accounting), and Legal to ensure accurate and efficient deal execution.
• Leverage technology and data tools to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide analytical support for infrastructure and renewable resource investments across energy, transport, utilities, data infrastructure, timberland, and agriculture.
• Participate in structured training and onboarding to quickly build expertise and operate autonomously.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in investment operations, finance, or a related function handling complex financial transactions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using SharePoint.
• Demonstrated ability to adopt emerging AI and data‑technology tools to enhance workflows.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
