Director, Enterprise Risk Management

About the role

BCI is seeking a Director, Enterprise Risk Management to lead its enterprise risk management (ERM) program, chair the Risk Leads Committee, and support Board‑level presentations on risk. Reporting to the Senior Director, ERM and Internal Controls, the role is a strategic leader within the Corporate Risk & Audit department.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously evolve BCI’s enterprise risk management program.
• Chair the Risk Leads Committee, facilitating discussion of enterprise risks.
• Support the Executive Risk Management Committee in setting strategic direction for ERM.
• Prepare and support Board presentations to ensure oversight of enterprise risks, risk events, and emerging risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders across BCI and with Canadian pension industry peers.
• Provide analysis and insight on risk exposures, governance, and control practices.
