Accounting Manager

About the Position

Join Montorio Homes Ltd., a premier residential home builder serving Edmonton and its surrounding communities. We are looking for a dedicated and strategic Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure our continued growth and excellence in the construction industry.

Main Missions

• Manage and oversee all daily financial operations and accounting functions.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop and monitor company budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Ensure strict compliance with all financial regulations and internal controls.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Manage payroll, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making across departments.

Profile Required

• Proven experience in a management role within accounting or finance.
• Strong background in financial reporting and budget management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a team effectively.
• Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments in a fast-paced environment.
