Sales Associate, Account Management

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Issuer team and Account Managers in Canada. The role focuses on driving financial and operational objectives, analyzing business metrics, and building a talent pipeline for long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Account Managers/Team Leads with financial institution partnership activities, including account analysis, executive briefs, and quarterly business reviews.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on business metrics by account and region to inform management decisions.
• Develop and maintain the sales pipeline, coordinating with product development and account management teams.
• Create long‑term growth strategies to optimize profitability across business lines.
• Support planning and execution of customer events, meetings, and compliance processes.
• Maintain Salesforce.com data and generate regular reporting.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent oral and written communication; bilingualism is a strong asset.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and decision‑making skills.
• Undergraduate degree preferred.
