Registered Nurse – Oncology (Part-Time)

About the role

The University Health Network (UHN) is seeking two part‑time Registered Nurses to join the Medical/Radiation Inpatient Oncology team at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. This permanent position offers 22.5 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts, covering days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, collaborative, and competent nursing care in accordance with UHN’s Professional Practice Model and Ontario nursing standards.
• Deliver patient‑centered care to oncology patients, applying nursing science, critical decision‑making and evidence‑based practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to hospital policies, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Engage in reflective practice and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform cross‑functional duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager.

Required profile

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and ability to meet physical demands of the role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
