Director, Thought Leadership

About the role

The Director, Thought Leadership will shape and disseminate forward‑looking content that strengthens the bank’s brand and drives stakeholder engagement. This senior position works across multiple channels to align thought‑leadership initiatives with the bank’s strategic priorities, including economic trends, geopolitics, technology, sustainability and human capital.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the ideation, planning and execution of strategic thought‑leadership projects for senior leaders.
• Gather input from internal stakeholders across functions and business lines.
• Build and manage partnerships with think tanks, industry groups, academic institutions and experts.
• Coordinate annual priority support and maintain regular progress updates.
• Prepare in‑depth analyses, briefings and recommendations for leadership.
• Support the creation of presentations by collecting data and providing analytical output.
• Monitor performance of thought‑leadership content, report results and suggest improvements.
• Identify opportunities to innovate the bank’s thought‑leadership approach.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading thought‑leadership or corporate affairs initiatives.
• Strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Passion for policy, industry and market trends affecting the banking sector.
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content.
