Data Assets Analyst

About the role

The Data Assets Analyst will work closely with data owners, stewards, and custodians to ensure that all data assets are well‑documented, structured, and understood across the organization. Based at Four Seasons' Toronto corporate office, this role supports the company’s data governance framework and helps maximize the value of data for business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify the content, structure, and context of data assets.
• Manage and enhance the organization’s data catalogue and centralized repository.
• Develop, maintain, and improve the business glossary.
• Establish and enforce reference data standards.
• Maintain critical reference data sets used in daily operations.
• Assist in implementing data governance policies and work with data stewards to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and highly organized with a strong focus on documentation.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Experience interacting with data stewards, custodians, IT, and analytics teams.
