Senior Full Stack Engineer – Shopify

About the role

Lazer is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer specialized in Shopify to join its remote‑first Lazer Commerce team. You will work on high‑performance storefronts, headless commerce solutions, and custom Shopify apps for leading brands.

Key responsibilities

• Build custom Shopify storefronts and themes using Liquid, React, Next.js, Remix, and TypeScript.
• Design and develop public and private Shopify apps, backend APIs, and Shopify Functions.
• Integrate third‑party services and databases such as MongoDB and Supabase.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers on headless Shopify projects.
• Maintain accessibility, performance, and scalability standards across all deliverables.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Shopify theme development and Liquid.
• Proficiency in modern front‑end frameworks (React, Next.js, Remix) and TypeScript.
• Solid background in Node.js backend development and API design.
• Passion for creating fast, accessible, and visually engaging e‑commerce experiences.
