About the role
The Administrative Assistant will support daily office operations, coordinate events, and ensure smooth communication across teams. This position requires strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences and other events.
- Direct and control daily operations, including staff supervision and motivation.
- Plan, develop and monitor budgets and expenditures.
- Train, evaluate and manage staff performance.
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences.
- Establish office procedures, routines and filing systems (manual and computerized).
- Develop and implement recruitment, training and development strategies.
- Compile data, statistics and other information for reporting.
- Recruit, hire and onboard new workers.
Required profile
- College, CEGEP or comparable non‑university certificate/diploma (3 months to < 1 year).
- 2–3 years of relevant administrative experience.
- Ability to work independently in a high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking capability and flexibility.
- Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
- Team‑player attitude with a quick‑learning mindset.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
