About the role
This senior commercial leadership position is based in Canada and is responsible for driving national revenue growth across a high‑performing sales organization focused on retail media, in‑store marketing, and digital incentive solutions. The VP Group Sales Manager will lead a team of sales professionals, expand relationships with existing and new clients, and shape how advertisers engage with integrated retail media ecosystems.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and exceed revenue targets for the Canadian sales organization.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high‑performing sales team focused on new client acquisition and account expansion.
- Build and maintain senior‑level relationships across key advertiser categories.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in high‑growth verticals such as CPG, adult beverage, and pharmaceuticals.
- Design client‑centric advertising solutions leveraging in‑store media, digital incentives, and omnichannel capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, insights, digital strategy, operations, and finance teams to create data‑driven proposals.
- Maintain disciplined forecasting, pipeline management, and weekly performance reporting.
- Continuously refine go‑to‑market strategies based on market trends and competitive dynamics.
Required profile
- Proven track record of delivering consistent revenue growth in advertising, media, retail marketing, or CPG‑related industries.
- Demonstrated success leading and scaling high‑performing sales teams in a target‑driven environment.
- Strong ability to engage and influence senior‑level decision makers and enterprise clients.
- Experience building strategic, data‑driven sales proposals and customized client solutions.
- Highly results‑oriented with strong business acumen and commercial judgment.
