Technology Program Manager

About the role

The Technology Program Manager will lead and oversee technology projects for Mastercard’s Ethoca products, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and delivering successful outcomes. This role collaborates with stakeholders across the business to continuously improve project delivery and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Project Management staff responsible for planning, monitoring, executing and implementing projects.
• Assist in departmental budget development, strategic direction, and approval of labor spend.
• Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to staff, ensuring appropriate skills and performance.
• Offer business knowledge and technical support for systems development throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure projects are adequately staffed, trained, and managed within approved manpower and budget guidelines.
• Provide technical and advisory support for application development and implementation.
• Define and develop project requirements, analyze them, and recommend solutions.
• Deliver projects on schedule and budget, handling status reporting, escalations, testing, user approval, and methodology compliance.
• Manage relationships with Global Technology Operations teams and project requesters.
• Provide senior‑level status reports and resolve project, business, or release issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Advanced degree and PMP certification preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategy, planning and project management.
• Experience in management consulting, financial services, e‑Business or related areas.
• Advanced knowledge of the payments industry.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
