Technician I – Security

About the role

As a Technician I – Security with Bosch Building Technologies you will support the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic security solutions. Working alongside experienced technicians you will gain hands‑on experience with low‑voltage access control, CCTV and pre‑wiring projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in installing and servicing access‑control, CCTV and intrusion‑alarm systems.
• Perform pre‑wiring, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Install, terminate and test copper and fiber‑optic cables and related components.
• Support system design and layout activities.
• Provide customer training on system usage and respond to technical inquiries.
• Maintain client relationships and identify future service opportunities.
• Complete administrative tasks such as project updates and documentation filing.
• Work night shifts when required by project or service needs.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry.
• Proficiency in cable pulling, installation and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with security systems, CCTV and alarm technologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract and ability to work independently.
• Adaptability, accountability, service orientation and a drive for continuous technical learning.
