About the role
We are looking for a graduate student to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the Winter 2027 offering of PHAR 508 – Drug Discovery and Development 3. The fixed‑term role runs from January 5 to April 30, 2027, involves 35 hours of work, and is compensated at $38.46 per hour. The position is based at the McIntyre Medical building on the McGill campus and requires onsite presence.
Key responsibilities
- Tutor and invigilate exams and student presentations.
- Review assignments and provide feedback to students.
- Monitor and evaluate in‑class presentations and discussions.
- Assist with management of the myCourses website for the course.
- Provide general support to the instructor as needed.
Required profile
- Graduate student who has successfully passed PHAR 562 and PHAR 563 (or equivalent).
- Strong command of English to assist international students with writing assignments.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.
