Tax Manager – Complex Engagements & Strategic Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Manager to lead sophisticated tax engagements and provide high‑value strategic advisory to our diverse client portfolio. The role combines deep technical expertise with the ability to mentor junior staff and drive business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex tax engagements across a varied portfolio, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Provide strategic tax planning and compliance frameworks as a core consultant within the specialist tax team.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and final review of intricate tax returns and files, adhering to industry standards.
• Conduct in‑depth tax research and present findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on advanced planning initiatives and broader client strategies.
• Mentor and coach junior tax professionals to support their career growth.
• Support firm growth through client relationship nurturing and participation in market initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team performance and client experience.

Required profile

• 4+ years of progressive, hands‑on public accounting experience with complex tax files.
• CPA designation and completion (or near completion) of an advanced tax program or Master’s in Taxation.
• Trusted‑advisor mindset with ability to understand complex business structures.
• Strong project‑management and organizational skills to balance competing priorities.
• Growth‑oriented attitude focused on continuous learning and measurable impact.
• Excellent communication skills to translate tax legislation into actionable insights.

• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with two collaborative days onsite per week.
