Support Engineer – Bilingual French/English

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual French/English Support Engineer to join a fast‑paced internal IT Service and Support team of a global consulting firm. The role is based onsite in Montreal and involves providing high‑quality technical assistance to users across multiple locations, including occasional support for the Toronto office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for laptops, software applications, virtual machines, video‑conferencing, networks, phones, and general end‑user technology issues.
• Manage tickets, deliver excellent customer service in person, by phone or email, and keep status updates and resolution details.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Maintain Active Directory objects, image, configure, and prepare laptops and virtual machines for deployment.
• Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles, deliver onboarding and user training, and escalate issues when needed.
• Contribute to technology projects, provide desk‑side and audio/video support, follow security guidelines, and mentor colleagues.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of IT support experience in a corporate or professional services environment.
• Bilingual in French and English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 Office applications.
• Preferred experience with mobile devices, desktops, laptops, printers, VMware, and remote user support.
