About the role
The City of Woodstock is hiring five enthusiastic summer students to serve as Camp Leaders. In this fast‑paced, fun‑filled environment you will help create memorable experiences for children aged 4‑12 while ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
Key responsibilities
- Directly supervise and ensure the safety of camp participants, including regular headcounts and rule enforcement.
- Lead and demonstrate a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as crafts, sports, and songs.
- Maintain clean activity stations by sweeping, wiping tables, and storing supplies.
- Provide basic first aid for minor injuries using band‑aids, ice packs, etc.
Required profile
- Minimum age of 14 and returning to secondary or post‑secondary school full‑time.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical duties.
- Willingness to obtain or hold Standard First Aid and CPR‑C certification.
- Willingness to obtain or hold Principles of Healthy Child Development certification.
