Studio Cycling Instructor – Vancouver

About the role

Equinox West Georgia Street is looking for energetic Studio Cycling Instructors to deliver the signature Equinox experience to members in Vancouver. You will lead dynamic cycling classes, ensure safety and enjoyment, and support members in achieving their fitness goals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging cycling classes while adhering to class descriptions and adjusting intensity as needed.
• Continuously monitor participants’ exercise intensity throughout each session.
• Start and end classes on time and provide technical/mechanical bike support.
• Teach scheduled classes regularly and minimize the need for substitute instructors.
• Communicate with the Group Fitness Manager regarding member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and substitution needs.

Required profile

• Current cycling certification.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Strong knowledge of basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and exercise modifications for diverse populations.
• Familiarity with ACSM guidelines for frequency, intensity, duration, and mode.
• Eagerness to pursue ongoing professional development.
• Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing personality.

Required skills
