Student Internship – General Stream (Fall 2026)

About the role

Export Development Canada (EDC) is offering a four‑month student internship for the Fall 2026 term. The General Stream provides opportunities across commerce, technology, analytics, finance, marketing, communications, project management and human resources. Interns will join a diverse team and contribute to projects that support Canadian businesses expanding globally.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day activities of the assigned business unit.
• Conduct research, data analysis and prepare reports for senior staff.
• Assist in the development of marketing, communication or financial materials.
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
• Complete any ad‑hoc tasks required by the team, whether routine or complex.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program related to commerce, business, technology, analytics, finance, accounting, marketing, communications, project management or human resources.
• Previous work‑term experience in a related field is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of both official languages is an asset.
• Motivated self‑starter with good organisational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
