Student General Labourer – Summer Manufacturing Role

About the role

We are seeking energetic, team‑oriented students to join our manufacturing team for the summer. The role involves hands‑on work on the production floor, supporting the assembly of windows and doors while gaining practical experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and use hand tools as required.
• Perform physically demanding tasks related to window and door assembly.
• Follow safe work practices, company policies, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain quality standards by adhering to established procedures.
• Perform repetitive tasks that require manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the workplace.
• Adapt to various work areas across the production floor as needed.

Required profile

• High school, university or college students (minimum 16 years old).
• Mechanically inclined with an interest in hands‑on work.
• Strong work ethic, reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and push/pull materials.
• Basic English reading and writing skills.
• Reliable transportation and CSA‑approved safety shoes.

Required skills

• Use of hand tools.
• Use of power tools.
