Software Engineer – AI‑First Platform Team

About the role

Parallelz is seeking a versatile Software Engineer to join its platform team. You will work directly with the Platform Lead to shape an AI‑first engineering culture and turn ideas into production‑ready services that power a novel mobile‑app transformation platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end, from concept through design, implementation, deployment and operation.
• Build and operate backend services and the cloud infrastructure that runs them.
• Stand up and maintain deployment pipelines, networking, load‑balancing and service connectivity.
• Design AI‑first systems and developer workflows, embedding agents, LLM tooling and automation.
• Partner with the Platform Lead to identify engineering pain points and ship platform improvements.
• Work natively with AI coding agents and tools (Claude Code, Cursor, custom internal agents) to accelerate research, prototyping, debugging and code review.

Required profile

• Strong all‑around engineer with recent experience across backend services and infrastructure.
• Background in both larger engineering organizations and early‑stage startups.
• Passionate about AI and agentic systems as productivity multipliers.
• Self‑starter who drives change rather than waiting for direction.
