About the role
Join Affinity Decision Support (ADS) as a Software Development Intern and gain hands‑on experience in the full software development lifecycle. You will work alongside experienced engineers on R&D projects that support healthcare administrators in understanding patient costs and outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in design, development, and testing of software components.
- Complete development tasks appropriate to your skill level.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate features.
- Document code and testing procedures to support quality assurance.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in research, innovation, and software development.
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
- Self‑motivated, coachable, and able to work effectively in a team.
Required skills
What we offer
- Part‑time schedule (approximately 20 hours per week) during the Spring/Summer 2026 semester.
- Compensation of $20 CAD per hour.
- Opportunity to take on independent development projects as skills progress.
