Software Development Intern

About the role

Join Affinity Decision Support (ADS) as a Software Development Intern and gain hands‑on experience in the full software development lifecycle. You will work alongside experienced engineers on R&D projects that support healthcare administrators in understanding patient costs and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, and testing of software components.
• Complete development tasks appropriate to your skill level.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate features.
• Document code and testing procedures to support quality assurance.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in research, innovation, and software development.
• Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
• Self‑motivated, coachable, and able to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

What we offer

• Part‑time schedule (approximately 20 hours per week) during the Spring/Summer 2026 semester.
• Compensation of $20 CAD per hour.
• Opportunity to take on independent development projects as skills progress.
