Site Superintendent

About the role

Ansept Construction is looking for experienced Site Superintendents to own project sites from mobilization through hand‑over across Western Canada. As the senior on‑site authority you will coordinate trades, enforce safety, manage schedules and ensure quality, giving the Project Manager full confidence in field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all on‑site operations from mobilization to hand‑over, serving as the highest‑ranking field authority.
• Coordinate and schedule all trades, maintaining daily, weekly and 3‑week look‑ahead schedules.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, verify workmanship quality and address issues early.
• Enforce site safety standards and regulations for all personnel, subcontractors and visitors.
• Identify schedule risks, develop recovery options and communicate solutions to the Project Manager.
• Prepare for and coordinate inspections, ensuring work is inspection‑ready.
• Submit comprehensive daily site logs with progress, crew counts, weather, photos and any variances.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years construction experience, including at least 2 years as a Superintendent or senior site supervisor.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage subcontractors.
• Strong schedule management and risk mitigation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and technical drawings.
