Shipping Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Shipping Supervisor to lead our Calgary warehouse team at Doka Canada. The role ensures accurate, timely shipping and receiving while maintaining high safety and inventory standards in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and maintain warehouse operations, optimising space and ensuring safety compliance.
• Plan daily and weekly manpower and delivery schedules in coordination with the Yard Manager.
• Motivate, train and develop a cohesive team, including temporary workers.
• Verify inventory accuracy for shipments, returns and transfers, addressing discrepancies promptly.
• Track inventory levels using internal systems and report issues to logistics management.
• Conduct regular health and safety meetings and enforce safety protocols.
• Develop and execute S.M.A.R.T. plans to continuously improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in planning and executing regular physical inventory counts.
• Streamline processes to prevent negative inventory and reduce surplus.
• Oversee outbound shipping schedules to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Required profile

• High School Education required.
