Shipper/Receiver – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the safe and accurate receipt, inspection, and dispatch of goods. This position ensures efficient warehouse operations, maintains inventory accuracy, and upholds safety and quality standards throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Regulatory, Safety & Quality Compliance – verify that all products meet safety, legal, and food‑quality standards; perform inspections for damage, hazards, allergens, or temperature deviations; enforce safety procedures and support audit readiness.
• Outbound Planning & Shipment Execution – plan, release and sequence outbound shipments; coordinate wave planning, order release timing, and trailer availability; monitor system status and adjust sequencing for urgent orders.
• Yard, Dock & Operational Coordination – control driver access, manage trailer movements with the yard operator, prioritize dock flow, and respond quickly to operational disruptions.
• Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Management – verify incoming shipments against documentation, track goods accurately, and process inbound and outbound loads efficiently.

Required profile

• Experience with ERP systems for shipment release and tracking
• Familiarity with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)
