Service Technician – Automotive Repair

About the role

As a Service Technician you will join Tesla’s global service team, supporting the mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. You will work on cutting‑edge electric vehicles, performing diagnostics, repairs, and ensuring each car leaves the shop in top condition.

Key responsibilities

• Execute basic and advanced diagnostic and repair work on all Tesla products.
• Collaborate with teammates to maximise repair efficiency and deliver high‑quality vehicle cleaning and detailing.
• Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools safely and effectively.
• Use a company‑supplied laptop for diagnostics, online training and documentation.
• Accurately record repairs, inspect shop equipment and request replacements when needed.
• Provide feedback to design and engineering teams to improve repair procedures and products.
• Maintain a collaborative, inclusive and respectful attitude in a dynamic environment.

Required profile

• Automotive Service Technician licence or willingness to become a Technician Apprentice through provincial schooling.
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities, organise workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong “safety first” mindset.
• Valid Class 5, G or G2 driver’s licence for Canada.
