Service HVAC Technician – Commercial & Residential

About the role

We are seeking a hard‑working Service HVAC Technician with experience in both commercial and residential environments to join our Service Division. The role offers autonomy, exposure to a wide variety of high‑end equipment, and a manageable pace of work.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units.
• Perform routine maintenance and system tune‑ups to ensure efficiency and longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Provide clear explanations of system issues and maintenance recommendations to customers.
• Assist teammates during service calls and collaborate with dispatchers to complete jobs efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service records, including work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines on job sites.

Required profile

• Journeyperson certification.
• 8‑10 years of residential HVAC service experience; commercial experience is an asset.
• Tech‑savvy with iPad usage and familiarity with texting apps; experience with Service Titan is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and capacity to work with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
