Senior Technical Architect – Healthcare

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Architect to join the Healthcare team in our Toronto studio. You will lead the technical and construction administration aspects of healthcare projects, ensuring design intent is translated into high‑quality construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team in planning work and solving technical and design detail challenges.
• Supervise the preparation of technical drawings and oversee construction administration.
• Develop detailed solutions that align with design intent and construction drawings.
• Ensure all construction documentation meets QA/QC and B+H best‑practice standards.
• Mentor junior staff, delegate tasks, and foster collaborative relationships with the Project Leadership Team.
• Assist with and manage contract administration services as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an architect with a strong technical background.
• Experience on healthcare projects is a plus.
• Registered Architect with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with P3 project procurement models is beneficial.
