Senior Researcher Communications Specialist – AI

About the role

LawZero is seeking a curious, intellectually agile, and mission‑driven Senior Researcher Communications Specialist – AI to bridge research teams and external audiences. You will translate complex AI research into clear, engaging, scientifically accurate content for policymakers, partners, media and the public.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to understand projects, breakthroughs and outcomes.
• Translate advanced AI and machine‑learning concepts into accessible content for blogs, white papers, newsletters, social media, executive briefings and government communications.
• Identify emerging trends and research milestones, generate content ideas and repurpose research outputs across multiple channels.
• Support grant proposal preparation, drafting technical sections on AI programs, HPC infrastructure, GPU requirements and expected scientific outcomes.
• Assist with conference materials, presentations, posters and outreach activities to position LawZero as a leading voice in responsible AI.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, scientific or research communications, preferably in highly technical environments.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine‑learning concepts and ability to engage directly with researchers without oversimplifying.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a proven track record of turning dense scientific material into compelling narratives.
• Highly collaborative, self‑starting attitude and ability to manage multiple projects in a flat organization.
• Fluent written English and professional proficiency in French.
