Senior Project Manager – Finance & Supply Chain Management

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Resource Planning, we are seeking an experienced Senior ERP Project Manager – Finance and Supply Chain Management Implementation to lead a large‑scale ERP transformation across the City of Hamilton. The role will drive client‑side activities, coordinate cross‑functional teams and third‑party partners, manage governance and reporting, and ensure delivery aligns with strategic business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end client‑side project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, milestone management and deliverables.
• Provide inputs and updates for Steering Committee and Executive Sponsor reporting, preparing status, risk and decision communications.
• Co‑manage escalated risks, issues and dependencies, developing mitigation and resolution strategies.
• Plan and control client performance of project tasks, support functional and technical teams in overcoming impediments.
• Maintain the business case, track value realization, monitor performance metrics and support change‑management and user‑adoption initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related field and PMP certification.
• 10+ years of progressive enterprise project‑management experience, including at least two full‑cycle ERP implementations (e.g., SAP S/4 Hana, Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor).
• Strong understanding of finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Reporting) and supply‑chain processes (procurement, inventory, supplier management).
• Experience operating within a structured PMO, governance frameworks and hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models.
