Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing

About the role

The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing leads bank‑wide sourcing initiatives for categories such as Loans, Mortgages, Collections and Credit Bureaus. Working closely with senior business unit leaders, the role drives cost reductions, supplier consolidation and innovation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with enterprise objectives and business unit needs.
• Lead category management activities, including market assessments, RFP processes and supplier negotiations.
• Consolidate and centralize supplier selection to create a competitive marketplace.
• Track multi‑functional sourcing initiatives, ensuring effective collaboration between stakeholders and suppliers.
• Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers and act as escalation point for enterprise‑wide issues.
• Support consistent application of procurement processes and champion a customer‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and build cross‑functional partnerships.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering cost savings and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing complex contracts and supplier performance.
