Senior Infrastructure Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Analyst to manage and optimise a hybrid Azure and on‑premises environment. The role focuses on Azure, Microsoft 365, identity services and enterprise infrastructure operations, supporting both cloud and data‑centre workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, monitor and troubleshoot Azure VMs, storage, VNets and PaaS/IaaS services.
• Manage Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, identity governance and security controls.
• Administer Microsoft Purview, DLP, compliance reporting and Azure Data Lake governance.
• Implement Azure Backup, Site Recovery and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep templates.
• Maintain on‑prem Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and VMware virtualization.
• Maintain NetApp storage systems and perform patching, upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Administer SQL Server (on‑prem and Azure SQL), including performance tuning and backups.
• Ensure consistent security, compliance and access controls across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support and maintain documentation and change records.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure services (VMs, networking, storage, Azure AD).
• Solid Windows/Linux server administration background.
• Experience with VMware or similar virtualization platforms.
• Experience with enterprise backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities.
• Preferred: Microsoft AZ‑104 certification, hybrid AD experience, familiarity with Microsoft Purview and enterprise networking.
