Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Orion Innovation is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to drive automation, security, reliability and operational stability across its global infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The role sits within the DevOps / Infrastructure team and works closely with engineering groups to ensure seamless release processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, operate and continuously improve production Linux‑based infrastructure environments.
• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Support cloud, virtualization and container platforms while enhancing system hardening, monitoring, logging and alerting.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term fixes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support releases and keep infrastructure documentation, procedures and runbooks up to date.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on infrastructure/DevOps experience in production‑grade environments.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, firewalls and load balancing.
• Proven ability to analyse system behaviour, diagnose performance issues and resolve complex infrastructure problems.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, release management and environment promotion workflows.
