SAP BTP Consultant – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a senior SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Consultant to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise‑grade solutions on SAP BTP. The position is fully remote and requires strong technical leadership across integration, extension, and cloud‑native development.

Key responsibilities

• Act as technical architect and lead for SAP BTP‑based extensions, integrations, and cloud‑native applications.
• Design and implement side‑by‑side extensions using CAP (Node.js/Java) and CDS models.
• Develop SAP Integration Suite (CPI) flows with standard and custom adapters (SFTP, HTTPS, OData, SOAP, JMS, AMQP, Mail, etc.).
• Define integration patterns, API governance, and security models using API Management, OAuth2, SAML, and IAS/IPS.
• Manage SAP BTP global account, sub‑accounts, environments, and governance standards.
• Drive migration initiatives from SAP PI/PO or legacy middleware to SAP BTP.
• Collaborate with functional teams (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, HCM, FI/CO) to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor junior developers, enforce best practices, and ensure delivery quality.
• Participate in architecture reviews, estimations, roadmap planning, and stakeholder discussions.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), and CAP development.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and guide complex SAP transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of SAP functional modules such as S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, HCM, and FI/CO.
• Senior‑level expertise with cloud‑native development and API management.
