About the role
Join the busiest Hot Topic store in Oshawa Centre as a Sales Associate. You’ll help fans discover the merch they love by delivering excellent customer service and keeping the store looking great.
Key responsibilities
- Provide an outstanding shopping experience, using product knowledge to assist customers and drive add‑on sales.
- Maintain visual standards on the sales floor, including planogram changes, wall and fixture merchandising.
- Operate the register, process transactions, and promote services such as BOPIS and curbside pickup.
- Communicate fashion and music trends to management and corporate partners.
- Keep the stockroom organized and assist with receiving and unpacking merchandise.
- Collaborate with the team and store leadership to prevent theft and ensure store security.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a retail environment.
- Passion for music, pop culture and the Hot Topic brand.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to lift boxes up to 50 lb and navigate the store using approved equipment.
