Project Manager

About the role

Interac is seeking a Project Manager to lead technical and business projects within its Payments team. The role will own the full project lifecycle, from defining specifications to coordinating with external partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor multiple cross‑functional projects of varying size and complexity.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, schedules and risk registers following the Solution Delivery Centre of Excellence methodology.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule and resources, and drive timely decision‑making.
• Report project health, KPIs and financials to sponsors and senior leadership.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, retrospectives and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors and third‑party partners, resolving dependencies and conflicts.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end projects in a technology or payments environment.
• Strong ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and remove roadblocks.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a calm, resourceful approach.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with senior management and external partners.
