Project Manager

About the role

RedCompass Labs is seeking a Project Manager to lead payment‑modernisation initiatives from its Toronto office. Reporting to the Chief Delivery Officer, you will ensure high‑quality delivery, predictable outcomes and on‑time completion for complex, AI‑driven payment transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute end‑to‑end payment projects, managing scope, schedule, budget and resources.
• Identify and mitigate risks early, track progress and resolve issues before they impact delivery.
• Facilitate weekly delivery meetings with client teams, providing clear, actionable updates.
• Prepare and present concise status reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including AI, data‑science and compliance experts, to maintain delivery momentum.

Required profile

• Strong focus on quality delivery and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to anticipate risks, make decisions under uncertainty and guide teams through complexity.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of tailoring messages for both operational teams and executive audiences.
• Adaptable to different client cultures and able to multitask across multiple initiatives.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with payment‑industry projects or financial‑services transformations.
