Postdoctoral Research Fellow – Health Economics

About the role

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of British Columbia is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Health Economics. The fellow will join the Collaboration for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE) and the Centre for Advancing Health Outcomes to support research that improves health‑care efficiency and equity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop health‑economic research projects in collaboration with the supervisor.
• Conduct health economic data analysis, preference elicitation, and policy evaluation.
• Contribute to a CIHR‑funded project assessing pharmacy models for rural and remote communities in British Columbia.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, clinicians, and support staff.
• Prepare reports, manuscripts, and presentations for academic and policy audiences.

Required profile

• PhD in health economics, pharmacy, public health, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in pharmacy policy, health‑care systems, and evidence‑based decision making.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced research environment.
