Pharmacist I – Part‑Time (0.4 FTE) at Bonnyville Health Centre

About the role

The Pharmacist I (PM) provides safe, effective, and efficient pharmaceutical services at Bonnyville Health Centre. Working 0.40 FTE on a temporary, part‑time basis, you will support medication therapy management for a diverse patient population in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Assess patients for potential and actual drug‑related problems and intervene to optimise outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote medication safety and holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure compliance with provincial pharmacy regulations.
• Participate in shift rotations: 7.75‑hour day shifts, four shifts per two‑week cycle.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy program (or recognized equivalent).
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Alberta.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, fast‑moving environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
