Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2

About the role

We are looking for a Part‑Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to support the Store Manager at our Hot Topic location in Bramalea City Centre. You will help drive sales, recruit and develop a passionate team, and ensure an outstanding in‑store experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in meeting sales targets and comp sales goals.
• Recruit, train and retain a collaborative, customer‑focused team.
• Promote new products and engage customers through social media, BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Maintain operational excellence, including payroll, scheduling, shrink prevention and loss control.
• Analyze sales reports and use data to guide strategies for achieving targets.
• Merchandise the store according to planograms and launch promotions on schedule.
• Communicate trends and customer feedback to retail leadership and HQ partners.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• Strong communication, recruiting, scheduling and merchandising abilities.
• High school diploma or GED; post‑secondary education is a plus.
• Ability to handle fast‑changing retail environment and lift merchandise up to 50 lb.
• Passion for music, pop culture and delivering exceptional customer service.
