Assistant Store Manager – Retail

About the role

Join Winners as an Assistant Store Manager at our Brampton location, leading a diverse team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You’ll support store performance, oversee operations, and mentor associates in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, and customer service operations.
• Recruit, train, and develop associates, serving as a mentor and role model to foster a supportive environment.
• Implement action plans for projects, targets, company initiatives, and store changes while providing input on succession planning.
• Coordinate loss‑prevention programs, improve store layout and efficiency, and focus on minimizing shrink and damages.
• Develop and execute strategies to meet sales, expense, and customer service targets.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to provide effective feedback and mentorship.
• Proficiency in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention.
