Package Handler – On‑Call

About the role

Join Intelcom | Dragonfly’s fast‑paced warehouse team as an on‑call Package Handler. You’ll work directly on the sorting floor, handling parcels and freight to keep the delivery network moving efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
• Manually load freight onto conveyors and operate powered/manual jacks.
• Organise sort setups according to the sort plan, scanning and handling parcels.
• Operate handheld devices and technology to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Place packages in designated areas for delivery or line‑haul teams.
• Stage sorted freight in the load‑out area and validate scans to reduce mis‑sorts.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.

Required profile

• Ability to lift up to 50 lb (23 kg) repeatedly.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule of at least three days per week (including weekends).
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, shift‑based warehouse environment.
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards.
